RIP Jane Keating,
A young member who passed away last week is sadly missed by her club members in Cheval Riding Club.
Jane Keating lost her two year battle with cancer on Satueday last and was an active member of club, serving on the clubs committee for a number of years.
Jane was a very inspiring young lady to many people. In her darkest days, Jane found the strength to set up a charity known to us as SOCK (Supporting Ovarian Cancer Knowledge) with her friend Aishling Bradwell, In which so many people in the North East region kindly supported over the years at her annual SOCK Team Show Jumping Challenge,
In Janes years with Cheval, she competed at dressage, show jumping, and showing classes on her horse Misty whom she loved and cared for so much. Every year Jane would live for the annual Riding Clubs Festival and would rally her troops together, friends and family of non horsey and horsey backround to attend the Festival for the craic.
Jane was always seen with a beautiful smile no matter what the occasion, be it good or bad and would always put a smile on your face. She was a bright, bubbly, brave and strong person that was much loved by everyone. Jane, at any event or accasion on a night out, would be first up on the dance floor having a ball of a time and loving every minute of it.
She will be deeply missed by all her friends, family and fellow members of Cheval Riding Club. We will always remember you Jane for the strength that was within you at your best and at your worse you were a true lady that will never be forgotten in our thoughts and in our hearts,
RIP Jane.
We will miss you, love your fellow members and friends in Cheval Riding Club.
